Scarlett, a 21-inch doll is a timeless treasure from the Portrait Dolls series inspired by the classic Movie, Gone with the Wind. She features dark brown curly hair, striking emerald green eyes that open and close with movement, and a light complexion. The doll is articulated with bendable/ poseable limbs, making her perfect for collectors of all occasions. Designed in NY, New york USA in 1961 by Madame Alexander, this collector edition doll is signed on the back of her neck, and comes complete with original accessories in its original box ( the box top/ front ) has been removed please see photos ). Accessories: emerald green necklace, ring, portrait doll card still attached at wrist bonnet with flowers, layered petty coat , stockings on her feet, shoes, underwear. The doll is made of vinyl and represents a Caucasian character Scarlett O' Hara from the all time classic Gone with the wind, based on the actress Vivien Lee . It is a perfect addition to any doll collection and a great gift for anyone who loves dolls, or the movie Gone with the Wind. The Original box is included, however, has no top as if the doll was displayed in the box with plastic originally as a cover. The label is on the end of the box number 2240. there is one small spot on the inside of her petticoat. The only flaw I can find. Please see last photo.
