Description

This vintage baby doll is a timeless treasure for collectors of all ages. With brown eyes that open and close and wavy brown hair, this 15-inch Effanbee Dy-Dee Baby doll is a charming addition to any collection. Made of hard plastic and rubber, with removable clothes, this doll is in vintage condition and comes in its original box. The doll was manufactured in the United States in 1930 and is a part of the Dy-Dee Baby The Almost Human Doll product line. This doll is an original and has not been reprinted. It includes four pieces, including the doll and accessories, and is perfect for unisex baby and toddler doll enthusiasts. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this rare and valuable collector's toy. The rubber is most certainly showing its age, which is to be expected for an almost 100-year-old baby. The eyes still open and close! Diaper, outfit, undershirt, and blanket are all included. I believe the clothes and diaper are original, but I am unsure about the blanket. Also, it has a buttonhole in the bum that was most likely used to empty the water after she was fed. The inside of the box is perfect for being pre-loved, and the graphics are so clear you can read everything well! The box has minor wear, but you can see from the side that it says brown eyes, and #5323 is marked. I have not removed the clothing, only the diaper partway, so you can see where the drainage hole was because I am not keeping this doll. I do not want to harm her in any way for the next owner. Can you imagine the little girl opening this on her birthday or Christmas morning in the 1930s and taking care of it for so long almost 100 years later! This baby is ready for a new home and somebody’s collection to be taken care of for another hundred years this is truly a piece of history. DM for questions or more photos.
