For your consideration, A Lovely Vintage Madame Alexander Composition Madeleine de Baine's, tagged dress, gorgeous Banana Curls, Rare 21" size, Circa 1939-1941. She is full composition, a hairline on right top shoulder, and one left lower side, both sealed, no peeling or cracks of composition, strung well, very light crazing, overall she is in Wonderful condition. She has her little Dolly that will arrive with her, a bisque and composition, original dress, slip, panties, deep auburn mohair wig, brown sleep eyes, open mouth, teeth. She is a Simon Halbig marked K*R (German) K Star R, 1920-1929. Madeleine wears an antique white organza dress with front side ruffles, pink satin ribbon inset at waist, no holes, rips, or tears, attached hoop slip, a little bent in a couple areas, tagged Madeleine de Baine's in the back, with square snap closure, elastic on puffed sleeves has relaxed. She has matching pantaloons with pale pink satin ribbon inset on each leg. She has vintage pattern style rayon socks, and black leatherette side snap shoes with bows accenting the toes, both heels present. She was given her vintage 3 pearl dangle necklace. She has the demure facial expression with pensive smile, the Wendy Ann facial mold. nice rose red lips, blushed cheeks, lower painted lashes, a couple dark little marks under right eye, shattered brown glassene sleep eyes, full upper horsehair lashes, light smoke brown eyeshadow, and fine stroked brows. Her lovely Ashe Blonde Human Hair still retains the original set of long banana curls, vintage hairpins, upswept sides with banana curls centered and original light pink silk ribbon bow. I purchased her antique straw hat just for her, from Estonia, wonderful straw style, with organdy ribbing inside, hat turns up in the back, a traditional style hat for these particular character dolls, with vintage millinery flowers on sides and deeper pink fuzzy flowers on back.
